Therapeutic Indication :
The Ministry of Health has approved the following therapeutic indications for ANDROGRIPAN ®: “Treatment and prevention of the flu and common cold”.
Mechanism of action:
The andrographolide has three courses of action, this situation makes it the best product to treat the common cold and sinusitis.
Anti inflammatory action: Increase in the synthesis and release of the adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) from the pituitary gland and thus causing the release of cortisol.
Besides, it helps in the inhibition of the release of the Platelet Aggregation Factor which favors the anti inflammatory effect.
Immune stimulation action: The product enhances the formation of antibodies. It shows specific and non specific antigen response. It enhances the functions of this system by the production of lymphocytes. It increases the release of interferon (cytosine) which has a response against virus avoiding their reproduction.
Anti pyretic action: reduces fever caused by bacterial endotoxines of endococcus and hemolytic strepctococcus ..

Interactions:
Isoniazide (treatment of tuberculosis ) Inmune suppresante agents, ciclosporine. It may interfere with the effect of corticoids in the treatment of cancer .
