The illness of arthrosis courses with severe pain in the hip, bones, elbow and knee. This situation is the result of the loss (wear down) of the cartilage. Glucosamine and Chondroitine stimulate the regeneration of the cartilage in the joint. It controls pain and rigidity and helps to restore movement in the joints.

Dose:
One capsule three times a day. Oral administration

Composition:
Glucosamine sulfate 500 mg.
Chondroitine sulfate 400 mg

Mechanism of action
IThe cartilage distributes the impact throughout the surface of the bones and it supports structures; in this form the cartilage reduces any harm on the joint. Besides, the cartilage avoids excessive friction between the joint surfaces. Glucosamine is an important aminoacid for the formation and repair of cartilages.

This substance is a molecule precursor which is essential to maintain strength and elasticity of the cartilage in the mobile joint. Apart from supporting the cartilage and some other connective tissues, glucosamine has anti inflammatory properties. It favors the production of hyaluronic acid increasing the anti inflammatory effect of this molecule. Chondroitine sulfate is part of a big protein molecule (proteoglicane) which gives elasticity to the cartilage.

Chondroitine is an essential molecule of the cartilage in the joints. It absorbs water, it adheres to the cartilage thickness and has the ability to absorb and distribute the compression forces. This ability to compress and expand facilitates the distribution towards the chondrocytes and the tissues adjacent to the cartilage

Adverse effects
Increase in intestinal gas.
Softer faeces.

Contraindications
Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.

Interactions
Anticlotting drugs.
